Ex-Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna has criticized Manchester United fans for staring at Paul Pogba.

The France midfielder has always been a target for the Red Devils team in times of poor performance. And with his contract expiring next summer. Bacary Sagna thinks it might be better to leave with criticism. Concerning compatriots receiving inappropriate treatment.

“I love Paul and the way he plays. I don’t want to speak for him. But it seems that between him and the fans it can sometimes be difficult. Because they have high expectations from Paul.” Sagna told Metro.

“The supporters want perfection from him. Because he is attractive on the pitch and can create so much space. That it turns out that he wants him to do everything. Just like Ronaldo is now.”

“Pogba was hit hard last time being sent off [lost 0-5 against Liverpool], yes, it was a bad tackle. But he tried to fight and get the ball back for the team. What do you want him to do, stand and watch? People think he’s not only smiling, but if you know him you’ll know he’s very disappointed.”

“I don’t know if he will be at Manchester United, I would like to see him shine with the team – he loves Manchester.”
