Roma coach Daniele De Rossi will not discuss the future of Argentine forward Paulo Dybala any further until the summer window closes.

Roma play their first game of the 2024-25 Serie A season and could only manage a 0-0 draw at Cagliari on Sunday, with De Rossi fielding new attackers Artem Dovbyk and Matias Sule, while Nikola Zalevski was deploy on the left.

However, after a frustrating attacking game, Dybala, who was name as a substitute, was brought on to replace Salevski in the 69th minute. Immediately after coming on, he won a free kick and crossed for Dovbyk, whose header hit the crossbar and almost scored for the Giallorossi.

With that said, De Rossi was ask if he was worry about Roma’s attacking play without Dybala.

“I have said enough about this and there is no need to say anything more. We will talk about the transfer market on September 1st,”

Dybala has been link with a big offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah over the past week and Roma are prepare to sell for a reasonable price as the Argentine striker’s current contract is in the final year and his wages have been raise to €16m this season.
